Local Students

Local Students Definition

Local students must fall into one of the following citizen/residency categories:

• Australian citizen
• Australian Permanent Resident (holder of a permanent visa)
• New Zealand citizen

Entry Requirements

For entry into Certificate and Diploma courses, prospective students are generally required to complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment and a Pre-Training Interview, administered by and to the satisfaction of ANGEL INSTITUTE.

Prospective students should be at least 18 years old for courses involving practical placement.

Note: For Early Childhood Education streams: A current Working With Children Check is required by all students. Application for this will be completed at the ANGEL INSTITUTE Orientation.
For Aged Care streams: A National Police check will be completed prior to attending practical placement.
