Our courses are Nationally Government accredited and delivered according to the National Hairdressing Training Package. \

Government funding is available for almost all young people - see 'government funding page'.

Youth Allowance / Austudy and Abstudy Approved.

All applicants must be a minimum of 15 years of age.

The courses delivered by the Angel Hair & Beauty Institute bearing the National Training Information Service (NTIS) logo, have National Accreditations, however, licensing arrangements in all states vary.

What makes the Angel Hair & Beauty Institute different from other providers?

75% hands-on practical training and 25% theory 

Small class sizes with a ratio of 12 students to one teacher

The Institute works with a network of Salons across Australia. 

Salon owners and staff looking to employ graduates constantly approach the Institute.  We provide the best opportunities for graduates to gain employment.

Do you accept mature age students?

We welcome mature age students who wish to fulfil a life long goal.  The Institute has trained many mature age students and continues to encourage mature age students to train for an industry where employment opportunities are diverse and numerous.

 

Are concessions available?

The majority of our courses are Austudy, Abstudy and Youth Allowance Approved.  Contact Centrelink to see if you qualify. Also see 'government funding' page.

How do I enrol in a course?

Prospective students are asked to attend an interview to determine suitability.
