Cost:                            $2,000.00

Duration:                      Full-time – 11 weeks (400 hours)

Attendance hours:         9am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Career Pathway:           Appropriate for a person wishing to gain a pre-vocational qualification prior to obtaining full time employment as a hairdressing apprentice.

*  Those individuals who have been awarded the Certificate II in Hairdressing, wishing to complete Certificate III in Hairdressing, will gain credit transfers into the qualifying course.

Work effectively in a retail environment

Maintain and organise work areas

Follow personal health and safety routines at work

Perform head, neck and shoulder massage

Sell products and services

Develop hairdressing industry knowledge

Dry hair to shape

Maintain tools and equipment

Assist colleagues providing multiple salon services as a team member Apply single, two and three strand braiding techniques
